- 13 October 2005: Small Scale Mining Workshop 14 – 15 Nov 2005This workshop organised by COM, CSMI, Miningtek, Mintek & Teba Development is intended to explore the critical ways in which SSM interacts with the environment and society and to identify key interventions. Issues to be explored include SSM and development, formalising SSM and supporting SSM.

TEBA Limited is a service organisation primarily responsible for the recruitment of mineworkers for the South African mining industry.
In addition, it carries out a vital role in ensuring the payment of various benefits (as well as savings) to workers and their families in rural areas of Southern Africa.
