- 17 January 2006: Cashing in on cash cropsThandanani is part of an agricultural project that was set up in 2002 in areas of the Eastern Cape such as Umzimkhulu, Flagstaff and Lusikisiki, from where mineworkers are recruited. The project offers development support for small farmers and is a joint venture between Teba Development and the Lima Rural Development Foundation.

TEBA Limited
TEBA Limited is a service organisation primarily responsible for the recruitment of mineworkers for the South African mining industry.
In addition, it carries out a vital role in ensuring the payment of various benefits (as well as savings) to workers and their families in rural areas of Southern Africa.
