Rand Mutual Assurance

The Rand Mutual Assurance Company Limited (RMA), known as the Rand Mutual, was founded in 1894 by mining companies on the Witwatersrand as a mutual insurance company to underwrite workers' compensation for mining industry employees injured in the course and scope of their environment. In fact, the Rand Mutual pioneered workers' compensation insurance in South Africa.

The Rand Mutual Assurance Company Limited is a registered agent of the Workmen's Compensation Commissioner. Services rendered by TEBA Limited to the Rand Mutual Assurance Company Limited are as follows:
