19 December 2008: A safer way to send money home TEBA Ltd has re-introduced a service which permits mineworkers to send money home safely, quickly and cheaply. This re-enforces TEBA Ltd's commitment to serving mineworkers' needs enhancing a service relationship extending as far back as 1902!
06 June 2008: Lesotho Gardens Relieve Food Crisis As delegates at the UN food cummit in Rome tackle concerns over food production, the BBC's visits Lesotho, one of the contries most at risk from climate change and global food and fuel price rises.
17 January 2006: Cashing in on cash crops Thandanani is part of an agricultural project that was set up in 2002 in areas of the Eastern Cape such as Umzimkhulu, Flagstaff and Lusikisiki, from where mineworkers are recruited. The project offers development support for small farmers and is a joint venture between Teba Development and the Lima Rural Development Foundation.
11 November 2005: TEBA Development gets 10% of Verimark Direct marketing company, Verimark Holdings Limited, has concluded a black economic empowerment transaction by ensuring that 10,1% of its equity passes to the beneficiaries of a grassroots rural development trust, TEBA Development
26 October 2005: Joel Wins Award Harmony's Joel Mine in the Free State, has won the Department of Mineral and Energy’s Mine Health and Safety Council’s Achievement Flag.
04 May 2005: Farmers day at Ngcele. The people of Ngcele witnessed a very successful Farmers Day on 31 March 2005. Farmers brought in a total of 1250 stock to take part in the competition that was conducted.
